Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable software on AWS. You’ll work across the stack—from React front-end to cloud infrastructure—while leveraging AI-assisted development practices.

The role emphasizes building robust APIs, serverless architectures, and secure, cost-efficient solutions with a hybrid work model (quarterly in-person collaboration) in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Hands-on AWS design and development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile.
• Experience with Docker and ECS/EKS.
• Experience with AWS CLI and SAM CLI.
• Knowledge of AI-powered/agentic development tools.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design and implement AWS cloud and serverless architectures using EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Bedrock.
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using GitLab.
• Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and specification-driven development.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Dev Technology is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable software solutions on AWS. You’ll work across the stack-from React and backend services to cloud infrastructure—while leveraging modern, AI-assisted development practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design and implementAWS cloud and serverless architectures using services such as EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Bedrock.
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.

• Experience building or integratingAI agents, including RAG, agent orchestration, tool use, or MCP.
• Experience withAmazon Bedrock Agents, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
• Experience withspecification-driven development using AI tooling.
• DevOps, monitoring, or observability experience.
• Security certifications such asSecurity+, CISSP, or AWS Security.
• Contributions to open-source AI tooling or frameworks.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000 - $190,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range
