Job summary

OXY, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer for the IT Enterprise Content Management group. You will design, build, test, and maintain enterprise web apps using Microsoft technologies, frontend frameworks, and cloud services.

Responsibilities include REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL Server optimization, and modernizing legacy .NET apps. Collaboration with analysts, QA, and infra teams is essential, as well as secure coding and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong SQL development, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience on AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Familiarity with Docker containers and modernizing legacy applications.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies like Active Directory, OAuth2, SAML.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Develop front-end applications using Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Build and maintain backend services using C# and .NET (.NET Core/.NET 8).
• Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Integrate applications with enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, OAuth, and Kerberos.
• Develop cloud-native and hybrid solutions utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Participate in application modernization efforts by migrating legacy .NET applications to modern cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding and development best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
