Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Newark, NJ is seeking a Full Stack Developer III for a hybrid position. You will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to code, test, and debug new and existing applications that solve complex business problems.

On a typical day you will build high-quality, well-documented code, collaborate across teams to define features, write tests, and explore emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component-based) for building responsive UIs.
• Solid backend development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across full stack (frontend + backend).
• Experience designing and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling).
• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch).

Responsibilities

• Build applications following latest coding practices and industry standards; code against the roadmap.
• Develop high-quality, well-documented, efficient code.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and define feature stories; work with tech leads on design.
• Write unit, integration, and functional automation tests; address QA issues.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate learning and innovation in day-to-day work.
• Tackle problems of diverse scope requiring data-driven analysis.
• Use Python, Java, or JavaScript and React, Springboot, Node.js frameworks.
