Job summary

ODAIA is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will work across the full stack to design, build, and ship features that empower pharma commercial teams with AI-powered insights.

You will own significant capabilities end-to-end, build data-rich UIs with React/TypeScript, and design scalable APIs. Remote-first with stock options and comprehensive benefits, based in Canada/US market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with ownership across frontend and backend systems.
• Deep experience with React and TypeScript, with strong browser fundamentals and performance.
• Extensive experience designing and operating APIs or backend services (Python, TypeScript, or similar) under production load.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: modular design, testing, and maintainable code.
• Experience guiding coding AI agents, reviewing generated output, and owning final implementation.
• Product‑oriented mindset and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team! You'll work across the full stack to design, build, and ship features that directly impact how pharma commercial teams engage with healthcare providers. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and ML engineering to solve complex problems and help bring our AI-powered platform to life.

We expect this person to be an active voice in how we plan and build contributing to epics, shaping scope, and bringing engineering perspective into roadmap conversations from the start.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own significant product capabilities end-to‑end from ambiguous problem framing through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration with minimal oversight
• Build accessible, data‑rich user experiences with React and TypeScript that make complex commercial and healthcare insights clear and actionable
• Build and maintain real‑time computation services (AWS Lambda) that serve scores and calculations on-demand to the customer‑facing app, with an eye toward latency, reliability, and cost at scale
• Design and maintain reliable, scalable APIs and backend services connecting ODAIA's data, ML, analytics, and agentic capabilities to customer‑facing products
• Work across our stack AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and embedded analytical engines like DuckDB and DataFusion
• Use Claude Code and other coding AI agents across the development lifecycle, and help define how the team uses these tools effectively
• Lead technical design, code review, and architectural discussions, surfacing risks and trade‑offs early
• Mentor other engineers and help shape team practices around testing, observability, and code quality
• Partner with engineering leadership on technical roadmap decisions and platform investments

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant ownership across frontend and backend systems and at least one experience leading a project with limited supervision
• Deep experience with React and TypeScript, plus a strong grasp of browser fundamentals, state management, and frontend performance
• Extensive experience designing and operating APIs or backend services (Python, TypeScript, or similar) under real production load
• Strong engineering fundamentals modular design, testing, and maintainable code paired with the judgment to know when simplicity is right and when more rigor is needed
• Experience guiding coding AI agents effectively, reviewing generated output, and retaining full ownership of the final implementationA track record of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar on a team
• A product‑oriented mindset and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 CAD + Stock and Equity. This range represents ODAIA's good‑faith estimate based on current market data and internal equity. Final compensation is determined through a comprehensive review of the successful candidate’s unique skill set, specialized experience, certifications and other relevant considerations. As such, the final offer may vary based on these specific factors. Salary expectations will be discussed collaboratively early in the process to ensure alignment. This role is also eligible for health benefits, stock options, and flexible time off policies as mentioned above.
