You will work with Java/Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, and related platforms to build end-to-end data solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Databricks/Hadoop with PySpark/SQL.
• Java backend plus React/TypeScript frontend, CI/CD, testing, and optimization.
• Experience with Data Governance and security including reusable frameworks.
• Experience as a full-stack Software Engineer with modern tech like Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building large-scale data platforms and distributed systems across on-premises and cloud.
• Experience integrating AI-driven capabilities into data platforms with governance and guardrails.
• Experience building reusable platforms serving multiple products/teams.
• Foundational understanding of software engineering principles (OO, API design, scalable systems).
• Interest in data-intensive apps with performance, scalability, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, design, and development of scalable data platforms and data-intensive apps.
• Work across layers using Java/Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop.
• Collaborate within and across teams to align on goals and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Participate in design and code reviews and support operational excellence.
• Work across global time zones while building a strong engineering culture.
• Build full-stack features for data onboarding, exchange, discovery, and consumption.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
• Develop and optimize data-intensive apps using Databricks, Spark, and related platforms.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across services, APIs, data workloads, and UX.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Governance, Security and stakeholders to deliver requirements.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to a growth-oriented culture.
• Continuously learn and drive improvements in quality, scalability, and developer productivity.
