Job summary

Synopsys Government Initiatives is seeking a senior full stack engineer to lead architecture and development of web tools used by aerospace and defense customers. You will craft front ends with React or Angular, and back‑end services in C#, Java, Python, or Node.js, plus cloud deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will mentor developers, enforce code quality, and ensure secure, scalable solutions that meet DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with React or Angular
• Back-end skills in at least two: C#, Java, Python, Node.js
• Experience building reusable web components (W3C specs)
• Cloud deployment experience with Docker/Kubernetes and automation
• Strong testing mindset with unit/integration tests
• Git and Agile methodologies (sprints, stand-ups, retros)

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of full stack applications integrating Ansys tools for aerospace and defense customers
• Build front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with React or Angular emphasizing UX
• Develop back-end services and APIs in C#, Java, Python, or Node.js to power automation and data processing
• Design and implement reusable, interoperable web components per W3C specifications
• Deploy and manage solutions in cloud environments using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD on AWS or Azure
• Mentor developers, conduct technical reviews, promote best practices for code quality and testing
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate mission needs into timely, secure solutions
