Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Architect – EE Platform to define and govern the architecture for next-generation EE platforms and Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) programs, including platforms such as STLA Brain.

You will lead cross-functional teams across embedded OS, middleware, and vehicle integration, drive architectural standards, and optimize performance and TCP while ensuring cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in design and development of embedded software architecture.
• Knowledge of signal and service-oriented interface design.
• Knowledge of POSIX OS.
• Strong knowledge of in-vehicle networking (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) including SOME/IP.
• Experience defining interfaces (signals/services), requirements, and architectural documentation.
• Cross-functional leadership (systems/hardware/software) + design review ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end software architecture for EE platforms.
• Drive architectural decisions across embedded software, middleware, platform services, and application integration.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical governance activities.
• Performance & Resource Management: Lead CPU, memory, storage, networking, and real-time performance optimization.
• Vehicle Networking & Communications: Provide expertise on CAN, Lin, Automotive Ethernet (SOME/IP), SPI, Shared Memory, …
• Provide guidance and mentoring to software, systems, and controls architects.
• Lead cross-functional technical workshops and design reviews.
• Assess technical trade-offs involving performance, safety, cybersecurity, maintainability, and Total Cost of Product (TCP).
• Support supplier and partner architecture evaluations.
