Job summary

Programmers.io, based in Dallas, is seeking an experienced AI/ML Full Stack Engineer to design, implement, and scale an enterprise-grade multi-agent AI platform. You will own LLM-driven orchestration, agent routing, and a gateway service built with FastAPI, Kubernetes, and cloud services.

You will lead the development of the tool-driven agent ecosystem, handle complex data APIs, and ensure secure, auditable operations in production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience shipping LLM agents in production.
• Ability to design and implement agentic AI solutions at scale.
• Experience with FastAPI, Kubernetes, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop an LLM-driven orchestrator that routes user intent across a portfolio of agents.
• Build the agent selection layer using hybrid retrieval and constrained LLM output (JSON).
• Create a multi-agent SDK/gateway via FastAPI with per-agent tool registries and context handling.
• Manage tool-driven agents and tool contracts, guardrails, and evaluation.
• Oversee the data API layer ensuring LLMs do not touch databases directly.
