Job summary

Penfield Search Partners Ltd. seeks a Full Stack Clinical Platform Engineer to design and operate production-grade Generative AI and ML solutions within Global Development Digital Transformation.

The role blends data engineering and applied AI, partnering with Clinical Operations, Data Management and IT to build scalable, regulated data platforms and AI-enabled pipelines aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science, biomedical informatics, statistics, or closely related field; PhD with 6+ years preferred.
• 5–7 years designing and leading data engineering solutions in life sciences/healthcare.
• Expertise in clinical data infrastructure and regulatory-grade data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical/operational problems into AI solutions from framing to production deployment.
• Design and implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for deploying and monitoring LLMs.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy or fine-tune AI models and apply modern techniques.
• Develop scalable data/ML pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Evaluate AI tools/frameworks balancing compliance, performance, and cost.
