Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager for the Modesto, CA area. You will lead FSQA programs, ensure GMPs and HACCP adherence, and partner with Operations to drive safety and quality across the site.

Responsibilities include USDA/FSIS liaison, regulatory compliance, training, investigations, and data-driven continuous improvement. This role requires 5+ years in food processing with supervisory experience and SAP/enterprise data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of work experience in food processing with supervisory and management experience for food safety and quality systems.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and experience with SAP and enterprise data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FSQA leader overseeing implementation, verification, and validation of food safety programs (e.g., HACCP, SSOP).
• Ensure compliance with GFSI standards, internal audits, and applicable food safety regulations.
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies (USDA, FSIS, AMS) and act as site liaison.
• Lead root cause investigations for pathogen-related issues and customer/consumer complaints; implement CAPAs.
• Drive investigations into product quality non-conformance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor FSQA data systems and reporting; analyze trends for continuous improvement.
