Job summary

Nortal is seeking a Senior Web Engineering Tech Lead for a 100% remote role serving US clients from LATAM. You will lead 3–5 web engineers, shape frontend architecture, and drive high-performance 3D web experiences that interface with microservices.

You’ll partner with product managers, designers, and external partners to deliver scalable, consumer-friendly web applications. We expect 8+ years in full-stack web codebases, 7+ years in React/TypeScript, and 5+ years in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience on substantial full-stack web codebases in production
• 7+ years of hands-on React/TypeScript frontend development with strong state management and performance optimization
• 5+ years designing and shipping distributed systems including API design and microservices
• Solid CS fundamentals and modern full-stack web technologies
• Experience with webDevOps and QA practices
• Experience with consumer internet applications is desirable
• Able to coordinate with Europe time zones and remote teams

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 3–5 web engineers in design and development of consumer-facing features
• Develop and improve web capabilities to be scalable, maintainable, and customer-loved
• Coordinate complex tech roadmaps with distributed teams and partners
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, leadership, and external partners
• Drive seamless customer journeys and integrated experiences across channels
• Promote healthy engineering practices through code reviews, docs, and test automation
