Job summary

Apple is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer in Sunnyvale to build performant user interfaces for complex enterprise and customer experiences on apple.com.

You will architect scalable frontend systems, mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions, collaborating with design, product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, accessible interfaces at scale. You will champion code quality, testing practices, and performance metrics, and contribute to design systems and component libraries.

Qualifications

• 5 years of TypeScript, React, and Next.js in production apps.
• 4 years of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3, or responsive layouts.
• 3 years of web testing with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
• 3 years with events, hooks and state management (Redux/Context/MobX/Zustand).
• 3 years of performance optimization and caching strategies.
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
