Job summary

BotCity is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the front-end of our products. You will deliver fast, enterprise-scale experiences built with React, Next.js and TypeScript, collaborating closely with Product and UX to raise the bar through code reviews and mentoring.

This role reports to the Engineer Manager. You'll lead frontend initiatives, refactor legacy code, ensure cross-browser performance, and write reusable components.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a software engineer with 3+ years on complex frontend projects.
• Strong fundamentals: clean code, patterns, architecture, state management.
• Automated testing and frontend performance optimization.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript with React/Next.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable frontend apps with modern tech.
• Collaborate with product and UX to translate requirements into UI solutions.
• Refactor legacy code and enforce frontend best practices.
• Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Identify issues with observability tools and surface factual findings.
• Write reusable code and optimize components for speed.
