Job summary

Medal is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our Electron-based desktop app team in New York City. You will craft high-quality features that scale to 100+ million users, collaborating directly with leadership and the gaming community to ship iteratively.

You’ll leverage React, Redux, Node, and Electron, with a bonus for full-stack experience in Java, C#, and C++. The role requires 5 days in the NYC office and a strong ownership mindset for end-to-end feature quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Experience with React, Redux, Node, and Electron.
• Bonus: full-stack experience (Java, C#, C++).
• In-person: NYC, 5 days in the office.
• Ownership & attention to detail: end-to-end quality of complex features.
• Code performance: profiling and performance considerations in production.
• Measuring with metrics and data-driven decisions.
