Job summary

Quince is seeking a senior frontend/mobile engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable storefront experiences across web (ReactJS) and mobile (React Native).

You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and mobile teams to deliver high-traffic ecommerce features, with strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and code quality. The role offers a base salary between $195k and $235k USD, with potential bonus/equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience building modern web and/or mobile apps.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS or React Native.
• Experience building high-scale consumer-facing web/mobile apps.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and modern frontend fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable storefront experiences across web (ReactJS) and mobile (React Native).
• Lead development of complex features powering the shopping experience, including browsing, product pages, cart, and checkout.
• Architect performant frontend and mobile systems for high traffic and scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and mobile teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs, defining contracts and delivering end-to-end experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented code and maintain high engineering standards.
