Placements24 is partnering with a leading digital product agency in East London to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive React experience. You will build high-performance, accessible user interfaces across web apps, collaborating with UX/UI and backend teams.

The ideal candidate brings a robust portfolio, 5+ years in frontend development, and proficiency with modern frontend stacks including React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and build tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience.
• Proven expertise with React.js for complex web apps.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, including preprocessors (Sass/Less).
• Experience with state management libraries; Redux or Zustand is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous handling.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Knowledge of performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Agile development experience.

Responsibilities
