Job summary

Restream is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Upload and Stream team, building interfaces for a leading live video platform. The role combines craft and engineering rigor, partnering with design and backend teams to ship polished user-facing features that creators rely on every day.

You will craft interfaces, design UI logic for features, and collaborate with designers to deliver intuitive experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ECMAScript.
• Deep expertise with React and major state management patterns.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS).
• Backend skills in Node.js, building REST APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Comfort working across TypeScript, MobX, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; self-directed, analytical, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Craft interfaces and interactions that feel fast, clear, and dependable across web services.
• Design and implement UI and front-end business logic for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with a product designer to deliver intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
• Participate actively in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Track emerging frontend and infrastructure technologies and identify opportunities to apply them.
