Job summary

The Swift Group in Reston, VA is seeking a highly experienced Frontend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript. This on-site role in Chantilly, VA requires strong UI proficiency and a passion for accessible, scalable frontend solutions.

Responsibilities include component development, UX-driven UI implementation, API integration with AWS services, and performance optimization within a collaborative Agile environment.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on Angular with reusable UI components.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and UI fundamentals.
US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain responsive UI components in Angular and TypeScript.
Translate UX specifications into accessible frontend implementations.
Build and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB).
Apply performance optimizations: code splitting, lazy loading, caching.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews.
