Job summary

OKX is hiring a front-end engineer to own fiat experiences and AI-native infra. You will ship money workflows to millions of users, build end-to-end automation, and instrument product data to drive decisions. Collaborate across US and APAC with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and scalable UI systems.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and frontend essentials — TypeScript, React, Vite, browser internals, and state management.
• Good sense of web performance, responsive design, and web security.
• Hands-on creativity with AI-assisted development: building models—agents, harnesses, MCP tools, eval loops, CI gates.
• Sharp problem-solving: root-cause ambiguous problems quickly and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
• Self-driven and resilient: learn fast, push for delivery, and contribute beyond your own scope.
• Conviction that decisions should be data-driven — and willingness to build instrumentation when needed.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with APAC teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship the money experiences of OKX — fiat deposits/withdrawals, Simple Buy/Sell for onshore and offshore markets, and Cards & Pay.
• Build AI-native engineering infrastructure: agent harnesses, reusable skills, end-to-end automation, evaluation pipelines.
• Make the product data-driven: instrument what you ship, build tracking and experimentation foundations.
• Drive frontend quality end-to-end — architecture, performance, testing, and server-driven UI systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams across the US and APAC to turn requirements into features.
• Contribute tooling, patterns, and practices beyond your own team to raise the bar for the wider group.
