Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Frontend Design System Engineer to build and maintain scalable UI components using TypeScript/JavaScript across React, Angular, and Vue. You will implement schema-driven, data-driven UI architectures and translate designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.

You will ensure quality with automated tests, adhere to design system standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. Remote role with Costa Rica or Peru locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks: React, Angular, Vue or similar.
• Ability to adapt to proprietary frameworks and internal ecosystems.
• Experience building schema-driven and data-driven UI components.
• Strong understanding of component architecture and reusable design patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of CSS, SCSS/Sass, Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design and design tokens.
• Experience delivering pixel-perfect UI from design specs.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest/Jasmine/Karma).
• Deep understanding of DOM lifecycle, browser rendering and frontend performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable, scalable UI components and modules using TypeScript/JavaScript and component-based frameworks.
• Develop schema-driven frontend solutions capable of dynamically rendering content via configuration-based architectures.
• Translate UX/UI designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces across browsers.
• Integrate components across schemas, data pipelines, runtime rendering, and CMS platforms.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure component quality and stability.
• Ensure adherence to design system standards, performance requirements, and frontend best practices.
• Optimize component maintainability, scalability, and long-term stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Navigate complex codebases and contribute high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
