Qualifications

• 8+ years building web apps with ownership of large frontend architectures.
• Expertise in TypeScript and React with performance focus.
• Experience designing shareable component libraries and design systems.
• Familiar with real-time editing and CRDT/OT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own Plane's frontend architecture and state flow across the app.
• Lead real-time collaborative editing end-to-end, including offline scenarios.
• Set and enforce performance and accessibility standards for large views.
• Define how agent actions appear in the UI with clear attribution.
• Mentor frontend engineers in SF and Hyderabad through reviews and standards.
• Migrate changes in a public codebase affecting community contributors.
