Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and own full lifecycle software across the stack, from concept to production. You will contribute to real-time data processing and high-scale systems, collaborating with UX and product management to deliver reliable features.

You should have 7+ years in software development, strong JS/TS skills, and experience with enterprise services or distributed systems. A CS degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building enterprise-level services and distributed systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software from inception to production.
• Demonstrate a firm grasp of the entire software development lifecycle.
• Drive complex changes involving multiple components.
• Deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver features.
• Guide and review changes to product features in line with product roadmaps.
• Implement and maintain product features.
• Build components and processes used by others.
• Build execution plans using data, observations, and market insight.
• Validate changes for high-quality releases.
• Work in a distributed system environment.
