Job summary

System One seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to craft scalable, accessible web applications using Angular 17+ and modern web tech. You will build reusable UI components, align with UX and architecture, and drive front-end standards across enterprise platforms.

The role requires collaboration with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams, with hybrid work reporting to Vienna or Winchester, VA, Pensacola, FL, or San Diego, CA. Expect leadership in design systems and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience developing applications using Angular 17+.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience developing large-scale SPAs and reusable component libraries.
• Experience with enterprise-scale codebases and design systems.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience implementing accessible solutions meeting WCAG standards.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible web apps with Angular and modern web tech.
• Build reusable UI components and libraries for consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX, architects, and product teams to translate designs into high-quality experiences.
• Establish and maintain design system components and styling standards.
• Lead front-end architecture decisions and provide technical leadership.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for quality, performance, accessibility, and security.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs and services.
• Maintain CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and technical debt; mentor junior engineers.
