Job summary

Our client, a leading online trading platform, seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team in Athens or Thessaloniki. You will build and maintain Angular applications, work with TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Angular Material, and REST APIs, and mentor developers.

You will shape the codebase through reviews, architecture decisions, coding standards, and tooling improvements, collaborating closely with product owners, backend engineers, and UX/UI designers.

Our client, one of the most established online trading platforms globally, serving millions of clients across more than 190 countries, is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join its team based in Athens or Thessaloniki.

The Role

You will build and maintain high-quality Angular applications, working across the full stack of modern frontend tooling, including TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Angular Material, and REST APIs. Beyond hands-on development, you will play an active role in shaping the codebase: leading code reviews, contributing to architecture and system design decisions, defining coding standards, and mentoring junior and mid-level developers. You will collaborate closely with product owners, backend engineers, and UX/UI designers, and be expected to evaluate and introduce new tools or processes where they improve quality or efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Proficiency in HTML, SCSS, and Git at a senior level
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices
• Experience leading technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
• Proven ability to define and enforce coding standards and development workflows within a team
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming patterns
• Strong grasp of algorithmic complexity, data structures, and OOP principles

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or the Ionic Framework
• Experience with Capacitor for cross-platform development
• Exposure to AWS services
• Node.js experience or open-source contributions
