Job summary

Socket.dev in the United States is seeking a highly skilled Front-End Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom websites and applications within the SharePoint environment to meet client goals and business requirements.

You will build with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborate to integrate front‑end with back‑end logic, write SharePoint REST API calls, and develop custom forms and workflows while maintaining documentation and following development standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience.
• Proven expertise with SharePoint 2013/2016.
• Advanced workflow development experience required.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, Bootstrap, or jQuery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end logic in collaboration with developers.
• Write and implement SharePoint REST API calls and manipulate retrieved data.
• Develop and maintain custom forms, automated workflows, and relational databases.
• Perform maintenance programming and resolve identified defects.
• Troubleshoot, update, and enhance existing websites and applications.
• Ensure code quality, maintain proper documentation, and follow established development standards.
• Present and demonstrate completed applications to clients alongside the Project Manager.
