Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Front End Developer to join the Operational Tooling team. You will help deliver end-to-end UI solutions for creating and administering Financial Indexes at scale, collaborating with UK/Europe teams.

You will design, develop, and deliver software with a focus on modern frontend technologies (React, Angular) and work within an Agile environment to produce scalable, business-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript, SQL, React, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks and backend services integration.
• Experience with Agile delivery and software development lifecycle.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer to join the Operational Tooling team and support the strategic growth of the business.

As a Senior Developer, you will work with a team of developers situated across the UK and Europe to deliver a greenfield project focused on creating end-to-end processes, UIs, and backend services for the creation and administration of Financial Indexes at scale. You will collaborate closely with BPMN developers, UI developers, Java developers, and a QA Automation team to build solutions that support the organization's market-leading products.

The team works from a prioritized backlog managed by Product Owners and Business Analysts to deliver against strategic objectives defined by senior management. This is an excellent opportunity to apply modern frontend development skills while contributing to the design and delivery of scalable, business-critical solutions that enable the client to build and maintain its market-leading products.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript, SQL, React, and Angular
• Extensive knowledge of Angular 2+ with a minimum of 4+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with React JS
• AWS experience and familiarity with products to develop solutions
• Good experience with databases, both relational and NoSQL
• Some experience in Technical Analysis and solution design
• Experience in software development methodologies and Agile-based deliveryli>
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and Pragmatic mindset for solving problems

• Experience working on projects involving migration from Angular to React
• Experience in In-memory caching (Redis)

• BPMN tool experience, such as IBM BAW, Camunda, Pega, or similar
