Ford is seeking an experienced Front-end Architect to lead the UI strategy across micro frontends using Next.js/React. You will drive scalable, high-performance UI design and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to align with our product vision.

You will mentor a team of UI developers, enforce best practices, and ensure robust code quality with strong test coverage. Hybrid onsite work and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years leading teams that build customer-facing, browser-based applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in React and JavaScript with UI/UX focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end architecture for micro frontends and scalable UI systems.
• Collaborate with frontend/backend architects to translate design into implementable requirements.
• Mentor UI developers and promote best practices across teams.
• Develop and maintain robust UI architecture using Next.js/React.
• Ensure high quality code with strong test coverage (>80%).
• Integrate UI components with backend services and APIs.
