Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical engineering or related field focusing on parametric CAD modeling.
• Advanced FreeCAD proficiency or equivalent parametric CAD platform.
• Strong GD&T and DFM knowledge.
• Ability to produce comprehensive technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience QA-ing CAD models for specification compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to project requirements.
• Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies and integrate components.
• Apply GD&T and DFM principles to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Generate clear technical drawings and documentation for review and downstream processes.
• Conduct QA reviews of CAD models and drawings to identify and resolve issues.
• Utilize Python scripting for CAD automation tasks (highly preferred).
• Collaborate by providing feedback on model accuracy and design intent.
