LDRM, a joint venture that includes Akima, is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to support fraud prevention for the Department of State. Ideal candidates will have at least one year as a Mid-Level Research Analyst, a DoS Research Certification, and the ability to travel for training.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Mid-Level Research Analyst.
• Must possess Full Research Certification from the Department of State.
• Must be available to travel for training and familiarization purposes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to draft analytical memoranda.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail to identify trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer and organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
• Identify areas for workflow and quality improvement within the FPU.
• Capable of choosing methods to process complex cases and guide others.
• Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
• U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• Able to complete a 10-year criminal and credit history background check.
• Able to complete a computer-based Writing Sample.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on cases prior to adjudication by gathering information from multiple sources.
• Perform analyses to identify fraudulent activity related to cases.
• Evaluate data sets and interpret relevance of data for case assignments.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy before entry into recordkeeping systems.
• Write reports that summarize research findings clearly and concisely.
• Coordinate with DOS personnel and other agencies for information sharing.
• Handle Law Enforcement Sensitive information appropriately.
• Analyze petitions to identify trends and improve future research.
• Monitor progress to meet production and quality goals and provide status updates.
