Job summary

Amtrak in Washington, DC is seeking Lead Enterprise Fraud Risk Analyst to execute advanced data analytics to identify and mitigate fraud risks across the organization. You will investigate patterns, generate insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve detection, prevention, and reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL and analytics, data visualization skills, and knowledge of fraud schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years in an advanced analytical role using data science or ML.
• Experience with fraud analytics and investigative work.
• Strong SQL and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract, normalize, and analyze data from multiple sources for fraud monitoring.
• Transform unstructured data using AI/ML to create analysis-ready datasets.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate fraud trends to leadership.
• Test controls and assess compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Lead preliminary investigations and support case management workflows.
