Job summary

Sumsub, a leading AI-powered trust infrastructure for compliance, seeks a Senior Anti-Fraud Analyst to work hands-on with live production data and enhance fraud detection accuracy across Sumsub products.

You will explore data to identify emerging fraud patterns, develop detection approaches using rules and ML, and translate analytical findings into actionable product recommendations. Fluency in English and strong Python/SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of anti-fraud, risk analytics, or related data science experience.
• Strong knowledge of exploratory data analysis and classical machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised approaches.
• Practical experience with anomaly detection, clustering, and link-based or graph analysis.
• Hands-on experience in fraud prevention or fraud analytics.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging fraud patterns and gaps in detection logic.
• Develop and tune detection using rules, ML, anomaly detection, and link analysis.
• Evaluate the accuracy, completeness, and predictive value of fraud signals.
• Analyse client traffic and alert flows, measure false positives and missed fraud, and recommend improvements.
• Build and optimise baseline rule sets and proactive alerts for common and emerging fraud scenarios.
• Turn analytical findings into clear product recommendations and support complex, data-intensive client cases when needed.
