Job summary

K2 Space Corporation in Seattle is seeking a skilled FPGA Firmware Engineer to develop mission-critical code for high-power satellites. You’ll be responsible for the architecture and implementation of programmable logic systems that ensure safe operation of spacecraft.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and significant experience in FPGA design using VHDL and SystemVerilog. Comprehensive benefits are offered alongside a competitive salary range of $120,000 – $225,000.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience working with complex FPGA designs spanning digital, mixed signal, or RF applications.
• Development experience with VHDL or SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and implementation of critical programmable logic systems.
• Implement architectures in RTL using VHDL and SystemVerilog.
• Verify and validate FPGA designs with simulation, bench-testing, and Hardware In The Loop testbeds.
• Support integration, test, and troubleshooting efforts for FPGA designs.
• Develop tools and infrastructure for high-reliability FPGA solutions.
