Job summary

Owl Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking a Principal FPGA Engineer to lead FPGA architecture, system integration, and advanced hardware initiatives for cybersecurity platforms. You will mentor teams, influence product strategy, and drive innovation across hardware development efforts.

The role requires deep expertise in FPGA design, SystemVerilog, and verification, with a focus on secure, embedded systems and collaboration with cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of FPGA and embedded systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA architecture and system design initiatives.
• Drive advanced FPGA and embedded hardware development.
• Develop FPGA packet handling mechanisms for high-speed data.
• Provide technical leadership for simulation and verification.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to long-term strategy.
• Participate in AGILE Scrum activities and technical planning.
