Job summary

Alexander Technology Group seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer in Massachusetts to design and develop FPGA architectures for radar and millimeter-wave platforms. Location is Billerica and the role is onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• 7+ years FPGA engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with Xilinx Ultrascale devices.
• Advanced VHDL/Verilog RTL development experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces and embedded subsystems.
• Experience with FPGA simulation, verification, and debugging.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures and synchronization systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog.
• Work with Xilinx Ultrascale FPGA platforms.
• Develop and integrate high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.
• Support FPGA verification, simulation, timing analysis, and hardware debugging.
• Collaborate with RF, Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering teams on complex embedded designs.
• Utilize lab equipment for validation and troubleshooting.
