Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer in Lexington Park, MD to lead major microelectronics programs across design, verification, fabrication, and trust domains. You will provide technical and programmatic guidance to government programs, oversee HDL-based development, and advance security-focused verification efforts.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in FPGA development, HDL expertise, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering, plus an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FPGA development experience.
• HDL development across multiple device families and platforms.
• HDL for systems-on-chip or FPGAs with/without microcontrollers.
• Hardware security concepts, verification methodologies, test benches, and embedded software.
• Alternatives to HDL in FPGA development (HDL Coder, Xilinx System Generator).
• Develop hardware design specs and perform planning, design, verification, and production tests.
• Secret clearance is required.
