Job summary

McPherson Companies, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst to leverage financial knowledge to build analyses and models, provide actionable insights, and support planning, forecasting, and executive decision making.

You will partner with operations, commercial leadership, accounting and management to drive performance improvements and M&A activity, using Planful, Power BI, Tableau and other modern FP&A tools. Strong modeling and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA a plus.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles.
• Proven advanced modeling skills including 3-statement modeling and scenario planning.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and operational finance.
• Experience with M&A due diligence and integration activities preferred.
• Experience with modern FP&A and analytics tools such as Planful, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, Oracle EPM, Vena Solutions, SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• JD Edwards ERP experience preferred; distribution/manufacturing exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead periodic forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
• Generate periodic reports for executive review and assemble presentations.
• Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for strategic decisions.
• Analyze performance trends, KPIs, margins and cash flow impacts.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify risks, opportunities and improvements.
• Support M&A due diligence, synergy analysis, and integration planning.
• Assist with integrating acquired businesses into financial reporting and planning.
• Leverage FP&A and BI tools to automate reporting and improve analytics.
• Improve financial processes, data integrity, and reporting scalability.
• Provide timely reporting and variance analysis against budget/plan.
• Independently align analyses with business partners and challenge assumptions.
• Provide analysis and actions to leaders to support decisions.
• Develop executive communications, reporting packages, and presentations.
• Support ad hoc strategic projects and board analyses.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by management.
