Job summary

Autodesk seeks a Senior Financial Systems professional to design and evolve scalable FP&A processes, partnering with Finance, HR, IT to support key planning cycles and reporting. You will drive data integrity, implement system upgrades, and develop clear documentation while guiding change across global teams.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A, or business systems roles with a track record of driving system improvements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Proficiency in enterprise financial applications including Workday Adaptive Planning, SAP, Workday HCM, Snowflake, Power BI
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to influence across leadership levels
  • Strong people leadership with experience managing teams in complex, matrixed environments and building high performing teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance scalable, cross-functional financial models and reporting processes, partnering with FBP and Corp FP&A stakeholders for planning cycles (forecasts, monthly/quarterly reporting, annual budget, LRP)
  • Audit, validate, and improve data integrity across financial systems by designing controls and investigating anomalies with business users
  • Support and drive system evolution initiatives: EPM upgrades, ERP integrations, configuration rollouts; participate in all phases of SDLC
  • Maintain and evolve documentation: end-user training materials, system configuration requirements, process guides
  • Oversee financial systems projects: timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication
  • Lead testing and change management for major system updates, integrations, and configuration changes
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across Finance, HR, IT, and other teams to plan and execute projects and process improvements

Lead testing and change management efforts for major system updates, integrations, and configuration changes Foster cross-functional collaboration across Finance, HR, IT, and other key teams to successfully plan, coordinate, and execute projects and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A, or business systems roles, with a strong track record of driving system improvements and supporting complex planning and reporting processes Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in finance/business, a plus Proficiency in enterprise financial applications, including Workday Adaptive Planning, SAP, Workday HCM, Snowflake, Power BI Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively & influence across all levels of leadership Strong people leader with proven experience managing teams in complex, matrixed environments and a demonstrated track record of building & elevating high performing teams Solid foundation in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and accounting principles, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset toward process efficiency and problem-solving Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects, delivering accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to manage change while considering downstream impacts on systems, data flows, and business processes

Salary

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,000 and $196,020. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
