Job summary

Ascend Learning seeks a Senior Manager FP&A to lead financial reporting, analysis, and planning for ITS and ILAS. You will drive headcount, spend, and capital data to support accurate forecasting and disciplined financial management.

The role partners with ITS and ILAS leaders to ensure a reliable operating model and provides clear, actionable insights for technology leadership. Hybrid from Leawood, KS, with some travel; 7+ years FP&A experience and strong Excel/Power BI skills required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A or financial reporting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Own all financial reporting for ITS and ILAS, including monthly close support, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare reconciled reporting packages showing actuals vs. plan and drivers of variance.
• Partner with ITS and ILAS leaders to maintain alignment on controllable P&L, headcount, and spend tracking.
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure reporting consistency across accounting and FP&A teams.
• Analyze drivers and trends to inform decision making for technology leadership.
