Job summary

Canopy Aerospace & Defense is seeking an FP&A Manager to join the Finance team in Irvine, CA. This role partners with accounting, operations, and leadership to drive budgeting, forecasts, cash flow planning, and management reporting.

Strong modeling and cross-functional collaboration are essential to deliver insights that influence strategic decisions. Responsibilities include leading annual budgets across multiple entities, developing rolling forecasts, and consolidating financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience.
• Experience developing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Experience developing and maintaining a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment with consolidation of financial information.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and key metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and planning process across multiple entities.
• Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts and key drivers.
• Maintain the 13-week cash flow forecast with cross-functional input.
• Consolidate financial information and prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and reporting against budget/forecast.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to support decisions.
• Partner with leaders to translate performance into actionable insights.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, working capital, and capex against plan.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and decision support.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for visibility into performance.
