Job summary

Armanino in Illinois seeks a Senior FP&A/Corporate Finance professional to own cash flow and balance sheet forecasting, integrated financial modeling, and driver-based planning within Pigment. You will analyze income statements and cash flow relationships to inform decisions.

You will partner with Accounting on actuals, lead M&A budgeting with FP&A and leadership, and push standardized, scalable processes across finance, embracing AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or related finance experience.
• Expert understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships.
• Corporate Financing/M&A financial experience a plus.
• Reasonably fluent in accounting; CPA not required.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and managing cash flow forecasts, balance sheet forecasts, financial models, scenario analyses, working capital analyses.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional financial analyses and initiatives, including coordinating stakeholders and driving independent work.
• Passion for process improvement, standardization, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of short and long-term cash flow forecasts, balance sheet forecasts, integrated financial models, and driver-based planning within Pigment to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, providing insights into revenue, profitability, liquidity, working capital, and cash generation.
• Partner with Accounting to understand actual cash flow and balance sheet results and forecast implications, ensuring alignment between reporting and planning.
• Lead M&A budget development in coordination with FP&A and business leaders; support post-acquisition performance analysis and long-term growth objectives.
• Develop and maintain standardized, scalable financial processes and reporting for core areas of responsibility, including KPIs and performance metrics.
• Use analytics, AI, and business intelligence tools to mine large financial and operational datasets, create repeatable analytical frameworks, and identify actionable insights.
• Independently structure and lead complex analyses, business cases, scenario analyses, and special projects; synthesize inputs into executive-ready recommendations.
