Job summary

Victra, Verizon’s largest premium retailer in the United States, is seeking a Manager, FP&A, to lead budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and cost management across the organization. You will partner with cross‑functional leaders to provide insights that drive performance.

The role requires advanced financial modeling, Power BI dashboards, and experience with Hyperion or Oracle PBCS, plus automation to streamline reporting and month‑end processes. This hybrid position is based in Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in Finance/Accounting roles.
• Experience managing budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional partners.
• Retail industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Hyperion and/or Oracle PBCS preferred.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytics capabilities.
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline reporting.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting in Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop assumptions and inputs for budget and forecast.
• Serve as the primary finance partner for corporate expense planning and management.
• Identify, quantify, and communicate financial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and variance analysis against forecast, budget, and prior periods.
• Provide actionable recommendations and insights to leadership; conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Ensure budget accuracy, challenge spending assumptions, and identify savings opportunities.
• Improve financial performance across functions and drive accountability for targets.
• Partner with Accounting to support a timely month-end close process.
• Develop executive presentations and reporting materials, including monthly reviews and board communications.
• Lead continuous improvements in FP&A: automation, reporting optimization, and tech usage.
