Job summary

Ernst & Young (EY) is seeking a Senior in Finance, Planning & Analytics for its Life Sciences & HealthCare practice, based in Chicago. You will lead FP&A and enterprise planning engagements, guiding teams and partnering with clients to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and reporting through leading EPM tools.

This role offers growth in a high-impact consulting environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in FP&A within industry or advisory, strong analytical skills, and experience with EPM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of combined industry and consulting experience in FP&A, Life Sciences.
• Strategic planning, long-range planning, and annual operating planning (AOP).
• Budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes.
• Financial modeling and scenario analysis; management reporting and performance analysis.
• Capital planning and investment analysis; strong FP&A background in corporate finance.
• Consulting or advisory experience implementing FP&A transformations or EPM solutions.
• Proven ability translating business challenges into improved planning and decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to derive insights from financial data.
• Experience with EPM platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream, Tagetik.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex FP&A and EPM projects for clients.
• Coordinate with junior colleagues and meet performance objectives.
• Drive quality and risk management while enabling process improvements.
• Guide teams and supervise delivery of technical initiatives.
• Deliver activities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Coordinate work of team members and ensure client satisfaction.
