Amazon's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support our Transportation Technology and Services organizations. In this role, you'll translate complex financial data into actionable business insights while partnering with stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation.

You'll have exceptional visibility with leadership and meaningful influence on decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns.
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy through proactive audits and diving deep to identify root causes of discrepancies, and implementing solutions to resolve finance issues
• Analyze complex datasets and build financial reports to address business questions, providing clear findings and recommendations that influence data-driven decision making at the senior leadership level
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on financial reporting standards, develop improved control mechanisms, and implement process improvements that scale controllership with measurable results
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial metrics into actionable insights that support operational performance, resource allocation decisions, and strategic planning initiatives
• Mentor team members on financial processes and best practices while building and maintaining team tools and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration
