Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver high-quality financial insights and maintain operational excellence in a challenging market. You will drive FP&A, budgeting, and cost-management initiatives, supporting executive decision making with advanced analysis and strategic planning.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, and CPA/CFA is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A or corporate accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• CPA or CFA certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage multi-scenario business plans (Strategic Plans, Annual Budgets, Target Plans) to support corporate goals.
• Execute monthly rolling forecasts by analyzing drivers like production volumes, cost structures, and risks.
• Perform comprehensive financial forecasting and variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Forecast).
• Oversee budget execution and provide strategic guidance to ensure disciplined spending.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and coordinate for Executive CoE (Cost Engineering) meetings.
