Job summary

CVS Health’s Pharmacy Services division seeks a Finance Analyst to support end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Large Client accounts. You will contribute to operating plans, budgets, and quarterly forecasts, and build models to evaluate network margin and COGS dynamics.

Responsibilities include variance analysis, executive-ready reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Business, and Pricing teams.

Qualifications

  • Financial planning, budgeting, and analysis skills in a PBM, managed care, or commercial health benefits environment.
  • Integrated understanding of revenue and COGS drivers in a pharmacy network context preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with large data sets.
  • Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain multi-driver variances clearly.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prepare executive-ready reporting.
  • Collaborative work style and ability to partner across Finance, Business, and Pricing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Large Client accounts within CVS Health’s Pharmacy Services business.
  • Contribute to annual operating plans, multi-year plans, and quarterly budgets and forecasts for Large Client revenue and COGS.
  • Analyze client-level and drug-level revenue and COGS details.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis, identifying and communicating volume, price, mix, MAC rate, and client-level performance drivers.
  • Build and maintain financial models evaluating Large Client network margin, revenue guarantee performance, drug mix, and COGS dynamics.
  • Prepare performance updates and management reporting packages for leadership review.
  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests, special projects, and scenario modeling.
