Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Worldwide Public Sector FP&A team. This role oversees the P&L and develops KPIs to provide leadership with actionable financial insights.

You will lead high-priority projects, partner across the AWS organization, and drive reporting to streamline planning and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate consolidates disparate data sources, leads cross-functional teams, and communicates strategies into concrete plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
• 4+ years of applying KPIs to analyses.
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 4+ years of identifying and executing opportunities to improve finance tools and processes.
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and BI.
