Job summary

WD is seeking a Financial Analyst in Irvine, CA to partner with Business Unit teams and Finance leadership. The role will analyze financial results, forecast revenue and margins, and develop tools to improve efficiency.

You will communicate findings to stakeholders and support management reviews, driving profitability and strategic decision-making. Essential functions include monthly forecasting, R&O consolidation, quarter-end reporting, and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, or related finance function.
• Strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, profitability, and P&L.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial forecasting and planning activities.
• Prepare quarterly financial reporting and analysis.
• Perform PVMC, revenue, margin, and profitability analysis.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and identify automation opportunities.
