Job summary

Fashion Nova, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Beverly Hills. You will support monthly and quarterly planning, variance analysis, and cross-functional partnerships to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires 5-7+ years of FP&A experience, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a Finance/Accounting background. You will collaborate with multiple departments and help refine budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proven time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel or consumer sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the VP of FP&A with updating OpEx templated and departmental KPI scorecards for month end close and financial reporting.
• Partner with Accounting to review month end close details and ensure OpEx accruals are properly booked by department and GL classification.
• Research and provide explanations on budget versus actual variances in operating expense details.
• Collaborate with department owners to understand vendor costs and ensure invoices are accurate.
• Contribute to updating sales, margin, and inventory receipt projections from Planning and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices to ensure spend aligns with budget and forecast expectations.
• Prepare and quantify financial cost projections for new vendors and technology platforms.
• Formulate ad-hoc analytics using different data sources for department owners and Finance.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Validate and reconcile invoices from external service vendors.
