Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A - Commercial Network Performance (COGS) to lead financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for Non-Medicare commercial pharmacy network costs within CVS Health's Pharmacy Services. You will evaluate MAC rate changes, drug mix, and network design to understand their impact on COGS and network margins.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with large data sets, and the ability to build influenceable financial models.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and cost analysis in PBM, managed care, or health benefits environments.
• Understanding of COGS drivers including MAC pricing, drug mix, and pharmacy network utilization.
• Proficiency in Excel and handling large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of annual operating plans, multi-year plans, and quarterly COGS forecasts for Non-Medicare commercial segments, including drug-level and pharmacy-level detail.
• Performs monthly COGS variance analysis, identifying drivers like MAC rates, drug mix, and network design changes.
• Builds and maintains financial models to assess the impact of MAC rate movements, formulary updates, network changes, and client-level utilization behavior.
• Prepares weekly network performance updates and management reporting packages for leadership review.
• Supports ad-hoc analytical requests, special projects, and scenario modeling as directed by the Manager and Director.
