Job summary

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. You focus on details while addressing big-picture challenges.

With analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team and the functional areas it supports, resolving forecasting issues and translating analyses into clear presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
• Experience with building data infrastructure and implementing reporting solutions is preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency and support AI initiatives and strategic project portfolios.
• Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision-making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
• Ability to take ownership, interact with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and be a team player.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation and synthesis of annual plans, long-range financial plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Central program management for OKR tracking, maintaining the central tracker for leadership and milestones.
• Oversee budget operations across the Knowledge & Information portfolio, including PO reviews and monthly forecasting cycles.
• Lead the consolidation and coordination of central finance workflows, ensuring data integrity and operational clarity.
